AHO SSAN
Aho Ssan ist der Künstlername des in Paris lebenden Niamké Désiré. Nach einem Studium in Grafikdesign und Film begann er, elektronische Musik zu komponieren und eigene digitale Instrumente zu entwickeln. Kurz darauf gewann er 2015 den Fondation de France Television Prize für seinen Soundtrack zu einem Film von Ingha Mago und arbeitete in der Folge mit renommierten Institutionen wie IRCAM und GRM in Frankreich zusammen. Sein Debütalbum „Simulacrum“, das am 7. Februar 2020 über Subtext Recordings erschien, greift Jean Baudrillards Konzept des Simulakrums auf und setzt sich mit der gesellschaftlichen Inszenierung von Inklusivität und Gleichheit auseinander, kontrastiert mit seinen eigenen Erfahrungen als Schwarzer in Frankreich. Bereits 2019 präsentierte er das Album live beim Berlin Atonal Festival. Seither wurde seine Arbeit in bedeutenden Häusern und auf internationalen Bühnen in Europa und den USA gezeigt, darunter das Lincoln Center in New York, die Maison de la Radio in Paris, das CTM Festival in Berlin, das MACBA in Barcelona, das Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam sowie die Krakauer Philharmonie. 2022 veröffentlichte er gemeinsam mit KMRU das kollaborative Album „Limen“ und war Teil der SHAPE+ Plattform, einem Zusammenschluss von 16 Festivals und Kulturinstitutionen wie dem CTM Festival in Berlin und dem Unsound Festival in Krakau. Seine Musik wurde von Medien wie NPR, Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, Libération, The Wire und The Quietus vielfach gewürdigt. Zudem erschien sein Soloalbum „Rhizomes“ auf Nicolas Jaars Label Other People. Im Juli des vergangenen Jahres folgte mit „Ego Death“ ein weiteres kollaboratives Album, diesmal gemeinsam mit Resina, das auf bedeutenden Festivals und in Institutionen wie Berlin Atonal, Rewire, Lunchmeat, Unsound und dem Lincoln Center in New York aufgeführt wurde.

Chewlie (she/none) is a Bern-based producer, visual artist, and DJ navigating the fringes of bass music with a fondness for asymmetry and atmosphere. Her sound is rooted in Leftfield Bass, Deconstructed Club, and Ambient exploring the balance between weight and space, tension and release. Both meditative and floor-focused, her live sets and productions drift through eerie textures and fractured rhythms, always with a quiet, deliberate intensity.

Emma dj is a Finnish-born Paris based sound artist and dj who has been building a rapidly growing catalogue of releases as well as of a handful impromptu SoundCloud mixtapes which have gained support early on from the likes of Thom Yorke to Virgil Abloh. Forging an aesthetic of his own combining experimental electronics, dance and trap, his productions display a clear penchant for harder, grittier and ever indescribable sounds translating directly into his dj sets and more recently a live performance which was premiered at Bourse de Commerce.
Emma dj has played at Berlin Atonal, Venice Biennale, MoMA PS1, Unsound, Bourse de Commerce, Centre Pompidou, ICA as well as subterranean parties across Europe, North America and Asia.

Hailing from Istanbul, the composer and sound artist Hüma Utku delves into the possibility of how raw sonic textures, electronic experimentation and acoustic composition can be used as means to conduct artistic introspection, sonic expression and conceptual exploration.
Highlighted as ‘a very singular artist’ (Bleep), she fuses field recordings, analog synthesisers and atmospheric ambience; into harmonious noise woven into harsh ritualistic rhythms, as means to utilise sound for storytelling. Combining her self-taught practice of music with her higher education in psychology; Utku's work as a whole draws inspiration from various layers of human condition and the complementary nature of dualities. She primarily engages with musical composition, sound for visuals, performance and installations.
In August 2018 Şeb-i Yelda (EP/12'') was released by Karlrecords, which presented Utku (as R.A.N.) with an authentic sound and strong conceptual theme to a wide audience. Following the international success of her EP, she released her debut full-length album Gnosis in July 2019 via the same label. This release gained Utku recognition for her unique approach of creating sonic story plots by merging concepts with experiments in electronic music.
Her sophomore album, The Psychologist, was released on Editions Mego in May 2022. Loaded with analog synthesisers, string composition, gnarly vocals and a raw artistic force, this album has been cited as ‘Utku's most ambitious, authentic and complex work yet’, in which her academic background and her current practice as a conceptual music composer are intertwined.
Her new album, Dracones, released on Editions Mego in April 2025, revolves around the theme of matrescence and received high regard by the international press among which her work has been praised for its ‘’Lynchian’’ sonic qualities (taz zeitung) and has been called ‘’innovative for the unpredictability of its sounds and the honesty with which she mediates...Dracones embraces the shadows and the dissonance and is gripping for it‘’ (PopMatters).
In September 2025, Utku launched her experimental music label, Mercurial Cycles, as a platform for sonic arts and interdisciplinary practices. Mercurial Cycles holds a radio residency on the Berlin based Refuge Worldwide.
Since 2016, Utku presented her work and performed across the world; including in Dark Mofo, Atonal Berlin , Salon IKSV Istanbul, Hamburger Bahnhof, CTM Festival, Donaufestival, Lunchmeat, Kunsthaus Zürich, Sonic Acts, Weltmuseum Vienna, MONOM, Stockholm Royal College of Music, among many other acclaimed music events and cultural institutions.
Her work has received notable press from platforms such as The Wire, PopMatters, Noisey, RollingStone, Redbull Music, Groove Mag, HHV Mag, A Closer Listen, Gonzo Circus, BantMag, Scene Noise among others, as well as getting broadcasted by seminal radio stations such as BBC Radio 3, NPR, ORF, TRT, NTS radio, RAI 3, YLE and Sveriges Radio.

Sanna Lu Una, Musikerin und Produzentin, erschafft mit ihrer befreiten Stimme, verträumten Synths, Bläsern, kammermusikalischen Elementen, Glockenspiel, Field Recordings und metallischen Beats neue Klangwelten, die sie im weiten Feld des Avantgarde-Pop verortet und zugleich immer wieder spielerisch aufbricht. In ihren Songs widmet sie sich existenzialistischen Fragen, die sie in fantastische, bildreiche Szenerien übersetzt, wobei ihre Texte wie eine Art Traumsprache funktionieren, die über Metaphern und Symbole kommuniziert und so eine lebendige, assoziative Reflexion ermöglicht. Ihr Debütalbum „Pierce the Ground“ durchdringt die Oberfläche und richtet den Blick auf das Verborgene darunter, indem es die untrennbare Verbindung zwischen Mensch und Natur – auch der eigenen inneren Natur – in einer Welt erforscht, die sich zunehmend von dieser entfernt; dabei werden innere Prozesse als Teil einer Reise zu sich selbst hör- und spürbar. Seit dem 4. April 2025 ist das Album auf allen gängigen Streaming-Plattformen sowie auf recyceltem Vinyl erhältlich. Live rückt ihre ausdrucksstarke Stimme in den Mittelpunkt, eingebettet in filmische Klanglandschaften, die sie gemeinsam mit dem Cellisten Angelo Beltrame erschafft, wodurch ein Raum für intensive Emotionen entsteht und die Bühne sich in atmosphärische Landschaften verwandelt, in denen das Innere im Außen sichtbar wird.

Slikback (real name: Fredrick M Njau) is an electronic producer from Nairobi, Kenya mainly focusing on experimental music, noise, bass and high intensity rhythms. Over the years his sound has morphed into various forms all meant to be an expression of different ideas and emotions. Unbound by any specific thing, his unique blend of sounds can be found in his multiple releases.
“Attrition" (July 18, 2025) marks his first full-length album for Planet Mu, delivering an immersive melding of cinema and game sound design with tough dance music, drawing on elements of Gqom, Dubstep, Tech-Step, and Hardcore Techno. It's like a sci-fi film for the ears, exploring a chain of events with dark atmospheres and dramatic pacing; trapdoors and auditory jump scares. A standout moment in Slikback’s career, "Attrition" is a masterclass in sound design and vision. Strange yet beautiful, intense yet rewarding.
